Two years ago, the requirement of a "B" license to bait and chase bears in Wisconsin was eliminated at the request of the Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association. This means that anyone can now come into the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest (CNNF) and other public lands, and dump thousands of gallons of food waste to attract bears, and then release any number of dogs to chase them. All in the Summer months, when bears and other wildlife should be storing energy for the long winter months. This video shows only one bear hunting party operating the CNNF, yet today alone we documented at least three hunting parties in our small research area carrying out the same practices. A recent study published in The Journal of Wildlife Management and conducted by the Wisconsin DNR & University of Wiscons...
No matter where you live in Wisconsin, chances are there is a magical landscape nearby with fresh water glistening on it or running through it. But, some in our Dairy State are concerned that run off from cow manure is harming our lakes, rivers, streams, and groundwater. What if we could not only calm those concerns but we could actually turn this waste into a resource for Wisconsin communities and for farming communities worldwide? What if we could lead the world by innovating sustainable technologies and applications that help to grow one of our state’s most vibrant industries; a solution that unleashes economic development in our rural communities; protects our state’s natural resources with freshwater solutions that are valuable throughout the world and; what if we could do all this at...

No carp go to waste. If you want to get on my distribution list, leave me your contact info. In Wisconsin, carp are rough fish, NOT game fish. They are an invasive & destructive species with no daily bag limit.

Every summer evening these monster whitetail bucks appear on the edges of a local yard waste dumping site. The site borders a protected wildlife sanctuary from which these big deer come from. This protected area allows them to grow their massive antlers without any worry of being hunted. In this video you can see them feeding on the grass clippings that many people have brought to site. Some people have taken advantage of them not being afraid of humans, however, and poach these monster bucks illegally. I put up this video to show how cool it is to see these huge whitetail deer alive. There are plenty of places to hunt in my state and I take advantage of them every year. There is no need for poaching, be a real hunter!
